A section pack adds new building blocks to a theme you already use. You copy the pack's files into your theme, and then add the sections to any page in the theme editor. Section packs need an Online Store 2.0 theme.
What do you need before you start?
- An Online Store 2.0 theme, so that sections can be added to every page.
- The section pack zip from your account, unzipped on your computer.
- A duplicate of your theme, so you can test safely.
How do you add the files?
- In Shopify, open Online Store, Themes, and choose Edit code on the duplicate theme.
- Add the files from the pack's sections folder to your theme's sections folder.
- Do the same for any snippets and assets folders the pack includes.
How do you use the new sections?
Open the theme editor, choose a page, and select Add section. The new sections appear in the list. Change their content in the settings panel, then save.
